    You can keep them as pets! They’re only poisonous if they eat specific insects from their environment.

        I used to take care of one, aswell as a Basilisk, a Mata Mata turtle, a yellow spotted puffer, and a Chameleon. They’re all expensive but surprisingly personable and cute (I’ll admit the turtle just smiles lol). They weren’t mine personally, I just took care of then.

        The coolest thing is looking at their belly if they get stuck to the glass. Their belly forms a suction cup.

      Colorado River toads produce 5-MeO-DMT. You don’t have to lick them anymore. Harvesters have developed a (more humane?) way to milk the venom and render it into a smokable or injestable powder.

      It may be restricted to First Nations religious practitioners the way peyote is, so check local ordinances and suppliers.
