You cannot really advance with a column of armoured vehicles towards enemy cities without the enemy noticing. It might not be able to get enough equipment to defend on time, but absolutely will know.
And, as said, the information comes from the Russian side, not Ukrainians.
Shouldn’t this be kept secret until after whatever outcome?
