Why wouldn’t the war resume as Hamas is still holding hostages and hasn’t yet surrendered? Does Gaza think Israel is just going to ignore the ~50 or so of their citizens still kept captive and let bygones be bygones?
Because you dont read news and ignore the number of “detainees” aka “hostages” in Israeli prisons.
Netanyahu’s goals are to deny Palestinian statehood and form a greater Israel. He does not care about the hostages.
