I understand they want to push hardware sales, but surely they are also interested in gaining more subscribers?

Because as much of a die-hard Android user I am, I’m actually still impressed with AppleTV+ as a steaming platform and the consistent quality of its shows.

But not having a dedicated app/dealing with buffering/not being able to download feels like I’m back in 2005

Non-Apple devices are almost always an afterthought and have a microscopic small team working on it compared to the rest of the teams.

That said, on the occasion that I’m on my PC and I want to watch, I’ve had no issues when using the Apple TV Preview app, but YMMV because the reviews still have plenty of complaints.

Apple is made with the mindset that its users are itoddlers who should not be allowed outside without adult supervision. This is ok if you have a mommy fetish but otherwise, stay away from their offerings.

I’ve wondered about this as well. I’m an Apple TV+ subscriber as well as MLS Season Pass. Watching games on my phone is an ordeal. Doesn’t seem like a great way to sell subscriptions

Yeah it barely worked at all on the Chrome browser on my PC. It was almost impossible to search for anything. It works a little better on my Roku TV, but not much. I’m just keeping the subscription long enough this time to watch Foundation and then probably canceling it again until another season of Severance comes out. They really don’t have anything else I want to watch that badly that I’m willing to put up with the shitty interface

Check out Silo. Post apocalyptic show set in an underground silo.

Or Slow Horses. Reject MI5 agents try their best.

      I really enjoyed both.
