I was there! And so were a TON of other people. Gives me hope. Either the fascists back down or the people will rise up.

I was at one too, and it is great that a bunch of people all over the country turned out, important to remember we have to both keep it up and expand the number of people standing up because what we did today will not be enough. Granted it’s winter still so I’m hopefully that things will heat up as the weather does

Protests are meaningless. Tech bro CEOs and their President will keep pushing until people push back.

    Slavery wasn’t ended with protests.

Hell, an awful lot of people had to fight and die for an eight hour workday and basic safety protections.

Protests organize people to fight for more

A hell of a lof of people just signed up to do work with groups like Indivisible who are putting in the less flashy work

Protests are a first step, not a last

Never push people not to protest. It makes connections that are needed when shit gets bad. Friends networks and plans are the lifeline in these situations

These protests are absolutely incredible, however we need to increase the pressure. The seeds of revolution tomorrow must be planted today. We must understand that peaceful protest is only good at organizing new members, the blood of the capitalist class must be spilled upon the dawn of a free future.
