Just fired up Voyager on Android to discover a notification-style marker above the settings/gear icon. Opening Settings doesn’t provide any clue as to why. Taking it further by tapping each of the top level menu items also doesn’t show why.
Okay, Voyager. Keep your secrets…
Edit: F-Droid showed that Voyager had recently updated, so I tapped the recent apps button and swiped up to close Voyager. When I reopened it, the marker was gone.
I’ve read elsewhere that there’s a bug that shows that notification when there’s an update, but it doesn’t show the update option.
That’s what I’ve read anyway.
I’d wondered if that might be it, thanks.
I know the developer is active here, so thought it night be a good opportunity for them to address it ahead of more questions. 😊
I did an update all from the play store and it went away. Interestingly, Voyager was not one of the apps listed.
I saw that too. Went to “about” and there was an selection to show the recent changes. It wasn’t well labeled though.
The “What’s New” link to the GitHub repo? I see now it’s mentioned as a fix in the most recent version. 👍🏻
I did a search here before posting, so thought it was a new issue. Then later remembered I had my view set to 1 day… 🤦🏻♂️
Weirdly mine seems to have disappeared without doing anything around the time I read this post…
