Anyone who didn’t vote (but could) or voted 3p has to start majorly apologizing to their American brethren. They hold responsibility for the millions of Americans currently wondering if they’re going to be alive in 4 years, the thousands uprooting their lives to move to a saner country, and those stuck in paralysis as they figure out their next move, and the trans people facing a soft travel ban.
The DNC also needs to get its shit together and apologize for caring more about courting the fictional “undecided” than energizing their own base.

I am beyond furious. I’ve spent 25+ years fighting for my right to exist as a transgender immigrant. I’m in the process of getting my next ticket out of here, and even if the US resolves its shit, I don’t think I ever want to return. I’m still mourning the friends, community, and great life I had prior to this.
