A lot of the Marvel stuff was written by the guy that made Buffy, so… yeah, I wouldn’t expect much. :/
Joss Whedon is not involved in the Buffy reboot. It’s being made by Chloe Zhao along with Sarah Michelle Gellar and Gail Berman (who was executive producer of Wednesday) with input from Nora and Lilla Zuckerman (Agents of SHIELD). Seems like it will be just as campy as we’re all hoping for.
I’m not knowledgeable about the marvel dc writings, maybe they have merit, but modern films from it are just so flat and uninteresting IMO, no depth in personalities and only BANG POOF WOW, no storyline, nothing really gappens. Guess it sells better to kids or something.
Sarah was directly involved in creating this so I have high hopes.
She was just the comedian though?
