yeah folks who could not suck it up and cast one fucking vote wants to blame politicians for not being savy enough with dealing with a democratic process that needs some cooperation from the other party because they think that is so simple. At least they worked to get humanitarian aid and limit the size of munitions going to israel. I hope the folks who don’t vote recognize their inaction is ten thousand times more responsible for what we have not than biden/harris ever was.

Yes, blame people who didn’t vote for Harris too. I for one did vote for her. One can protest genocide but still vote for the better candidate.

In any case if Biden/Harris had just like… listened to those protesting and stopped funding genocide… then this wouldn’t have been a problem.

which is not a thing. congress did the funding. its not so easy as voting. every single person saying things like this if in the position of president would have done a way shittier job.

even without direct control, the president can be vocally against it and can urge Congress to stop funding the genocide. and if Congress doesn’t budge then loudly call out those that are blocking it.

What does that do exactly. Its a feel good much like the not voting but its effectiveness is suspect. The recent israel thing is more about netanyahu and certain factions than israel itself. just like the us is not all trump and maga. This was an allied nation that was attacked which given how we were with our allies with 911 it perfectly opened up a, be here for us this is our 911. Biden again did very well. He initially helped as that was appropriate to our relationship and the situation and then he backed off and did call them out but just not with language harsh enough for some peoples likeing. There was a lot of work to try to get aid in and limiting the munition size was a good move. I cannot say for sure but I am 100% sure biden could have used harsher language and not gotten one iota more support from those who say he could have at least done this. He is a pragmatic guy and did actions to greatest good effect he could. Its one reason I found his presidency to be the best of my lifetime. Its because he got so much done despite the adversity on all sides both domestic and foreign. Its also one of the reason trump comes in last. Its amazing how well he fucks things up quickly and consistantly.
