    feels like everything released is a reboot, prequel, interquel, reimagining, or what the fuck ever they want to call it

      The top ten last year were all remakes, sequals or adaptations of one kind or another.

      Of course if they make, fund, and promote established IPs with more enthusiasm it may be a bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy.
