Bonus round:

Thank the gods we have these brave, pure, online leftists to stand up against fascism, for the sake of the lives of the oppressed.

What planet do these people live on? This is what happens when you refuse to admit you could ever be wrong.

The fact that the other side is even worse doesn’t make your side less guilty of genocide

I mean, if we’re comparing the one side to the other, it literally does. Like, someone who is committing less genocide is less guilty of genocide than someone who’s committing more genocide

Not that I think I could convince this psychopath of that while they’re salivating over the idea of American gays getting executed

It’s a sad state of affairs when you’re quibbling over whether your genocide is smaller. Hey, here’s a random thought I wanna toss your way, if you don’t mind?

Maybe don’t do genocide at all? Like, ever? Even a little?

I feel like you would be a little more righteous in your argument if you just, you know, stopped the genocide.

Obviously. None of that contradicts what I said, nor does it make cumming over the idea of LGBT americans getting murdered defensible

If this is the person I’m thinking, I find it very amusing. They’re obviously trolling but they also seem to be the only one getting angry.

I actually barely even have the words.

Past suffering is no excuse to celebrate present and future suffering. I don’t care how frustrating it is that middle-class Americans have lived in the lap of relative luxury at the loss of foreign life. Slaughtering the benefactors of injustice is not justice. It doesn’t even stop the injustice from continuing. To wish for the death of millions of ignorant innocents in defense of refusing to act to stop the worst of the knowledgeable offenders is inexcusable.

That reply to it is actually fucking insane. These people never cared about us arabs, they just want their side to win. Actual fascists, not even in red anymore.

The “If Israel is going to genocide Palestinians…” quote is sarcasm/mockery of people who supported fascism in the US because of the ongoing genocide in Palestine, and the commenter’s response was to unironically endorse it.

50 years from now, considering that the USA elections changed nothing for Palestine either way (or maybe even made things worse for them under Trump now), the history books won’t be talking about these ‘brave’ heroes that sat out the vote for the sake of Palestine. They’ll be talking about all of the apathetic, zero empathy, selfish children who were happy to sit back and watch LGBTQ+ people and other minorities get their rights and dignity stripped from them because it didn’t affect them personally.

These guys chose their side and the history books will reflect that.

I would surmise that just about every turning point in history had a majority of people with no strong philosophical or moral convictions, only caring about themselves, their families, and their continued comfort and immediate safety. And I also find that history does not cast a whole lot of blame on them.

How often does dialogue about the Third Reich talk about the German farmers and bakers and factory workers who saw their neighbors and colleagues disappear, and the only reaction they could muster is shrug. “What can you do?” “They probably deserved it.”

those people are dangerous - even if they themselves don’t hurt people directly, they might inspire someone to do some crazy nasty shit. they are not one inch better than the israeli fascist leaders.

Welfare fascists like to act tough on the internet. The real spook is if one of those morons tried to actually act out their insane beliefs. Imagine if one of them actually commits a shooting because of their belief that people are responsible for their governments actions?
