I’d argue that every pet owner is going to euthanize a pet at some point and there probably couldn’t have been a crueler act than letting the Soviets capture a dog they knew was yours, if you’re literally Hitler.
Hitler wasn’t a demon in a human suit, he was a person and people are quite often the kind hypocrites that can refuse to eat meat because of animal cruelty while supporting slave labor and human slaughterhouses.
