Summary

Former Trump adviser Steve Bannon criticized Elon Musk, calling him “racist” and “truly evil,” over Musk’s support for H-1B visas and immigration policies.

Bannon, pledging to “take this guy down,” vowed to block Musk’s White House influence in Trump’s new administration.

Musk, a major Trump donor, had been rewarded with advisory roles but faced backlash from MAGA supporters opposing immigration.

Bannon also attacked Musk’s wealth-driven motives, accusing him of promoting “techno-feudalism,” and called for Musk to “go back to South Africa,” targeting his heritage.

He is left language to try and be heard outside the right… It’s making the headlines, so it’s working to a certain extent

Sure, it’s definitely making headlines. But it doesn’t seem… purposeful I guess? Who is the target audience for this message? How does it possibly further bannon’s interests?

I can’t imagine any of musk’s support being eroded because bannon thinks he’s racist, and no one left of mussolini is gonna join team bannon.

There are some people on the right who like to tell themselves that they’re not racists, and cling to that shit whenever possible. I think he is speaking directly to those people.

Monkeys throw poop. You can probably find KKK members that think to themselves “I’m not racist, it’s just that {insert race slur of choice} is the problem”. Bannon is trying to give them targets.
