Ahh yes I’m sure the people whose cars were burned won’t simply get a new one. This effectively released lots of bad chemicals into the air and did nothing to reduce the number of cars on the road.

Some people won’t have enough money to buy a new car or will always feel insecure in their cars now.
That’s a nice sentiment, dear, but people still need to be able to get to work to survive.
And if nobody had cars, that would be way easier for everyone.
Except chauffeurs. They’ll have to get new jobs.
