Are you paying them to wait around?

Do you expect to get paid for being late?

Or have someone watch that toddler an extra hour?

Yes, parents get paid time off, and buses here come about every 20 minutes on average. Metro & trams being much more frequent with often under 10 minutes. Either way, it’s your own responsibility to be on time.

So no. You’re going to require them to use to more of their time, necessitating more child care, and not pay them for it. Instead you’re going to stand on your privilege and pretend everyone is as blessed as you are.

Great take. This isn’t why people on here talk about guillotines at all.

You got what you voted for. lol Did you think our “privilege” happened to just because? You can’t expect things to change if you let people like Trump turn your country to shits. But this already starts even at a local level. There, all the way to the top, you guys vote for the wrong people - repeatedly. It’s clear that you want it this way.

Trump got elected because the Democrats weren’t doing much either. They make promises but don’t deliver, (which yes is partly because of Republican obstruction). The election was decided this year when Kamala Harris told people nothing would substantively change in her interview on The View.

We’re not getting a choice on mass transit and other services for the working class. But that also makes us the perfect case study for why lateness shouldn’t be assumed to be a choice.

Lmao, yes, nothing fundamentally would change compared to Biden, not Trump.

But thanks for once again proving how full of shit you “both sides” people are. If you think Biden / Harris & Trump are the same, then you’re in for a wild ride. But I guess that’s what happens when you don’t educate yourself about the things this administration has done.

Oh I voted for Harris. I’m just open about why they lost and what the electorate saw. The Democrats haven’t done anything meaningful for the working class since Obama’s healthcare act.
