    I love that the photo is grainy, as if there’s so much radiation in the air that he can’t get a clear picture of it.

      It’s a funny detail :D

      butttttt americium-241 from smoke detectors are primarily alpha emitters, so the air, the sludge itself, and the camera lens would shield the camera’s sensors from being noticeably exposed :3

        However, an exposed camera sensor and a bit of americium is an interesting way to create a decent random number generator.
