This is a TARGETED attack
I have learnt this the hard way
Me too, but I’m still not gonna do it.
Most tasks only benefit you indirectly, so they are considered worthless by your lizard brain.
Just get comfortable and have something to eat and you are golden. Maybe masturbate from time to time.
Maybe masturbate from time to time.
Now I don’t have time for tasks.
What if your task is later in the day? How do you stop from stressing about it the whole day?
What if I just did my task right before I go to bed…
No, I’m too tired, I shall do my task tomorrow.
What if I just waited until the afternoon to do my task, I want to relax.
Oh my, where’d all the time go? I should do it before I go to bed.
falls asleep
This needs to be posted in ADHD
A task in a vacuum isn’t that bad, but the reality is that there hundreds if not thousands of little fucking fuck little task that adds up pretty quickly.
Yeah, taking out the trash isn’t that long, but I have 50 other things to do also at the same time.
But then they’ll just be replaced by new ones.
Alternatively: Just pretend task doesn’t exist.
🙃
I’ll put it on my to-do list.
Now if I could just remember to look at my to-do list.
Just add another to-do about that?
This is completely ignoring all of the time you need to expend on building up the motivation to do said task
I stress about tasks I’m not motivated to complete, the ones I’m motivated to do don’t bother me at all
I will do it tomorrow, no need to be stressed about this task today.
