Omg she was alive when that battle happened.

Retire already. Get this neolib out of power before she continues ducking up shit for people who actually have to live with the consequences of her greed

Just days after we had an article about Pelosi trying to fuck with AOC. Coincidence? Yes of course. Hope she gets better soon even if I would prefer she retired already.

She’s running out of time to cooks the books for her family, so she is trying to do game of thrones shit to get her nephew Gavin to carry the torch.

    Oh noooo…

    …anyway

Up vs. Down. She’s made hundreds of millions selling us out and undermining the occasional spoiler candidate that has actual economic leftwing views within her own party (the DNC only promotes bribe taking neoliberals) harder than she fights her supposed opposition party:

Who the fuck cares. A person who had too much power for too long got old and is experiencing old age.

Riffing off of a sibling comment: reminder that Henry Kissinger is finally dead! Hoorah!

The queen? Guess I’m not up to speed on why she’d be there. Is there anything outside the average opposition to the monarchy that makes her deserving?

The level of vitriol against pelosi is in no small part because of republican efforts to demonise her. Yes, she’s a corrupt plutocrat. But why do people hate her specifically, versus every other corrupt plutocrat that makes up the leadership of the democratic party?

She forced out biden and was one of the few dems who actually wanted to fight this election. But she was also a driving force behind the kamala campaigns failed right turn which destroyed her own good work.

She’s a more complicated corrupt plutocrat than people give her credit for, is I guess my point.

She also refuses any push towards progressive policies like M4A, minimum wage increases, and is currently trying to block AOC from gaining political ground.

She’s not unique in what she does, she’s just a powerful legacy member of Congress. She’s been around for decades doing this kind of thing, and that’s what gets the attention.

If we was running as a Republican when she first started, no one would have batted an eye.

in no small part because of republican efforts to demonise her

Actually no, it isn’t. It’s because she’s a fucking virulently anti-progressive neo-con. She has done some good in combatting Republican BS and I respect her abilities as a slimy politician in the same way I’d respect an skilled pick pocket, but this has nothing to do with Republicans.
