Oh ok, so the AI becomes the hiring manager that gives all the work to their subordinates and claims all the credit.
“Please don’t trust everything we tell you, we are not in control of when we lie. In instances where you suspect we may have done this, please disregard our messages and check for yourself. If we lie and fool you, that is also your fault.”
How about YOU validate the message before you post it
AI used for sending out admissions info or for analyzing admissions essays internally? The former just seems lazy since it’s usually just a copy-paste job where they deny you without much info; the latter is probably slightly better than having admissions people themselves spend 10 seconds on your essay and deny you over something arbitrary like a book you read that didn’t fit the mold.
Suffice to say, admissions process in general suck and are easily gamed by people in private schools with actually counselors helping them. AI will probably make that worse, but that’s just shit on top of shit.
“In fact, we didn’t even mean to send this message. You are not currently reading this text.”
The previous model was artificial intelligence, too. Like the machine that writes the current messages, the people writing the previous messages were pretending to be intelligent. Maybe they should have had the same warnings…
