Nah, it’s just a badly worded title. From my understanding of the devstream yesterday, Chemistry is separate from Hex rep, and is more in line with the standard romance heart system you’d see in something like Stardew (individual favor per protoframe). They haven’t said if it has a daily cap or if it’s just very grindy, just that it’d take a while to max out (and that you can redo stuff at certain points if you’re unhappy with how things are going).

Oooh, that sounds a lot more interesting, thank you! Maybe my Drifter will manage to not be sad and alone this New Year’s after all! And I’m totally not projecting!

Thanks as well for reminding me that Dev Streams are a major part of the canon! Been a while since I dove this deep into Warframe.

Yeah, you can get chemistry by going through the visual novel KIM chat system, or if you’re impatient and just want to speedrun sloppy new milennium makeouts with Amir your Hex of choice you can go on murderdates (bounties) with them. Chemistry also works as a generic rapport system so you can grind friendship with the other Hex too.

Niiice! Yep, that sounds way more complex than I would’ve expected from Warframe! Also sounds like a LOT more story than we’ve received so far in a single update! And murderdate sounds like EXACTLY the type of romance my life is lacking!❤️

As far as Amir goes, I want him to be my best bud! Been maining Volt pretty much since the first time I played him (my starter was Excal, which I sorta’ retroactively regretted - not a slight to Excal, though!), he’s closer to family than anything else at this point:))
