When I was homeless this was one of the biggest things. It didn’t solve all my problems, but having such a simple, direct way to just go and get food was huge.

Honestly its probably one of the better donations you can make as far as charity, but I think the whole idea that our country needs to rely on charity systems is a problem and super inefficient for most issues.
