Power in numbers is a legitimate strategy but theres I also at some point I would like to play the game
If you greatly outnumber your enemy in one fight, those people are missing elsewhere. It’s not a good strategy in general and should only be applied if the cap must go through for strategical reasons.
Most players don’t play with any sort of tactic or strategy in mind though; they’re not doing it on purpose.

But yeah 100% agree with you. Over pop is a strategy and like any strategy it has a time and place where, like you said, this base cannot fall to the enemy or must be captured
It’s why I actually appreciate platoon leads who use squad waypoints because me the 30 other people are sick of looking at the spawn room because PL could only bother placing platoon way cus hes too busy gushing over the map screen
I’ve had some amazing PLs don’t get me wrong but man the bad ones never fail to make to laugh with their entitlement “WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU WERE OUTGUNNED 5 to 1 JUST SHOOT THEM” -actual PL quote that I’m slightly paraphrasing
I’d recommend you actually try to lead a platoon. It’s not as easy as you think it is.
For sure I actually like leading, my outfit doesn’t have the pop for that tho and usually I get tired pretty easily but it’s fun. Doesn’t help that a year ago my outfit was dead let alone now but I’ve rolling with a few friends
