I’m pretty sure everyone with a “Normal” childhood would rather have 6 million to their name when they turned 17 tbh.
Privilege speaks, and we’re all supposed to listen.
I think everyone feels a little lost after doing something for 8 years. It’s a routine and then one day it ends. I imagine it’s even harder when you’re 12 and that thing has been your whole life.
I’m glad that it sounds like she is well adjusted. I hope we hear more about child stars that had her experience. So often we hear the horror side, a side that is hopefully on the decline and gone.
I don’t expect child acting to go away anytime soon. I think for some it is likely a benefit. But it’s clear that a safe environment and attentive parents are a requirement.
But it’s parents trying to get their kids into acting to begin with, and I think that attention seeking mindset is rarely found in parents who give a shit about their kids.
Sounds good that she’s questioning it but I think she’s forgetting the precarious situation a lot of us are in.
Her net worth could save thousands of people who are going to die in the side effects of poverty in the coming year.
She was an expert brought in to talk about Modern Family on a recent episode of a trivia podcast I love. Really enjoyed hearing her talk about her experiences and how she found enjoyment in her school’s theatre.
How much money she have to her name? 6M.
Thought so.
What is the logic here? She’s a child actor/former child actor. Has an opinion on child acting. But because she was a successful one she’s not allowed to speak??
Pretty easy to say I wouldn’t recommend something when you are set for life from it.
Aubrey Plaza is so goddamn hot
Um. What?
