It’s a reference to a story from The Magnus Archives, in which a guy leaves a statement about an antique vase he bought retconning a bunch of his belongings out of existence such that no records of them exist outside of his own memory, culminating in the disappearance of his husband.
Well that’s pretty terrifying.
