Hitler also received only 43% of the votes at his peak. He was less popular in Germany than Trump is in the USA.

You’ve inspired me. I’m going to do some research to make a list of ways Hitler was better than Trump. I wonder how long it’ll be.
Given that Trump compared himself to Hitler it’s probably appropriate, but the NSDAP, the ‘Nationalsozialistische Bewegung’, Hitler and by extension the entire German populace committed crimes in orders of magnitude and inhumanity bigger than what Republicans, MAGA movement, Trump and US-Americans are dreaming about. That is not to say that the MAGA movement doesn’t have the potential for genocidal intent, but they don’t have industrial gas chambers with attached ovens yet.
