Hope instead of restricting forever, the authority should bank in on these activity and developing it. Young people should have fun, and cycling is fun.
Well aprarently they’ve done exactly that and it was too effective.
While I support them in this endavour, 100000s of students in a single night simply is too much to handle for a single city.
Rather than outright banning people from cycling thouoh, they should instead encorage them to spread out to multiple cities/locations. I imagine those places would love to each receive a manageable amount of visitors each.
That’s what i meant by developing it instead of just encouraging it. Building cycling infrastructure for them, parking space, that sort of thing. Solve the issue of overcrowding overtime instead of simply and arbitrary banning forever, sweeping the issue under the carpet and call it a day, something authority loved to do.
