Probably the most significant one was Gore vs Bush, as Bush’s victory probably led to the war in Iraq and the impending global climate disaster.
Not only that but it signaled the beginning of the end for fair elections. I resent Gore for conceding the election. Should have battled it right up until Inauguration Day and the first order of business should have been to abolish the electoral college.
I dunno. Not saying that wasn’t important. It absolutely was and we should all be ashamed that it was allowed to stand. But I think the end of democracy. Not hyperbole. This is what will happen and they’ve already promised to happen should they win. Will be more significant. The appointment of bush absolutely directly led to this. But I still think this will be slightly more significant. As outright fascism becomes the order of the day.
This is the most important election in history so far
I would say in our life time yes, but not the most important in history, seeing how that is a VERY long time.
“So far”
Automatic downvote for election clichés.
Yeah fr it’s so boring seeing more of this shit
🥱
Then maybe the Dems should’ve ran a candidate who isn’t famous for her low favorability ratings.
If a candidate is so weak you have to rig the primary for them, they aren’t strong enough to compete in a general election. This isn’t rocket science.
