The dems should’ve nominated Lina. I’d have voted for her in a heartbeat.

I was permabanned from Reddit today for my lack of sympathy for Liz Cheney. Figured I’d check out lemmy.
Not going well so far. Already banned from politicalmemes for disturbing the pro-Harris echo chamber.
People really need to stop assuming every Stein voter is a stolen Harris vote. I’d rather stay home than vote for Harris.
I suspect the actual pushback is to prevent the Greens from reaching the 5% voter threshold, and making them a more viable party.
You can see her policies on her website: https://votesocialist2024.com/
I love how y’all say De La Cruz doesn’t have a proven record, and shouldn’t be supported based on her promises. But when I point to Harris’ record, I’m supposed to believe her promises.
Pick one, and be consistent.
It doesn’t matter what she says she wants. If she authorizes more weapons sales, she’s in violation of both international and domestic law.
I support her policies.
Like he was forced to starve 500,000 Iraqi children?
Zelenskyy wondering why we don’t just use his workaround, and refuse to hold elections.
And they don’t want to start a precedent of prosecuting politicians for threatening to or actually killing people. That would be bad for defense contractors.
You’re just rewarding their behavior by giving them the attention they wanted for it.
I’ve been holding my nose for decades now. Voting for the blue circle doesn’t get us any closer to the left. In fact, voting for the “lesser evil” is still getting us pulled farther right, to the point that both options openly support genocide.
If luring Dems left is even possible, it has to be done by making them lose. Rewarding them with a win, after they go further right, just encourages them to keep moving right.
She’s declaring intent to violate Leahy Law.
But I guess a blood sacrifice is an acceptable trade off for school lunches. It’s just arab kids, right? /s

Genocidal dictators like Netanyahu are acceptable?
I wanted to vote for De La Cruz, but Dems sued her off of the ballot in my state. That cost them my down ballot support, too.
Are we re-using the “we’ll push Biden left” lie again? How’d that work out?
Cobb County Police in Georgia got some bad press for this a few years back. An officer took a weekend course to certify he could tell when people were drunk or high, and then he ruined a bunch of innocent people’s lives.
She’s already said she will continue arming Israel, which is a felony at this point.
Proudly proclaiming she will commit a felony day one is a good indication of how I expect the rest of her term to go.
I think the confusion here is that Harris voters, even the reluctant ones, see her as an acceptable alternative to Trump. But I don’t. Both of them are so completely unacceptable options for me.
Imagine the election were between Donald Trump and Rudy Giuliani. Or Hitler vs Mussolini. Or whatever match up would finally make you say, ‘I can’t possibly support either of these hideous fucks.’ I’m already there with Harris vs Trump.
I’ve seen so many thousands of images and videos this year of children torn to shreds in Gaza. I just can’t fucking do it.
I voted Stein in Georgia. My vote never belonged to Harris, so me not voting for her has taken nothing away.
Maybe stop assuming people will vote for candidates, and start earning those votes.
By that logic, Kamala Harris is pro-Trump for her actions driving away voters.
