The poll is the latest warning sign to Democrats that the war in Gaza is costing support among a key voting bloc.

Harris isn’t going to alienate 300,000 Jewish voters in PA for 20,000 Arab voters in MI.

    https://www.cnn.com/2024/10/22/politics/jewish-voters-pennsylvania-election/index.html

“The American Jewish Population Project at Brandeis University estimates there are about 300,000 Jewish voters in the Keystone State. When you consider that Joe Biden won Pennsylvania by less than 82,000 votes in 2020, and Trump by about 44,000 votes in 2016, the margins matter.”

A lot of Arab-Americans are Christians, who have a problematic relationship with Arab identity.

The vast majority of US Jews want the conflict to end, something that can be done by a US president with a phonecall.

Harris declaring that she’ll end the war would be a boost across this demographic, and I’d assume many others.

Could be done with a phone call, if Bibi gave two shits about what we think, and he doesn’t. He really, really doesn’t.

The phone call must include the magic words, “or no more weapons”

They don’t need our weapons to shoot little kids in the head. Bullets are cheap.

It doesn’t matter if we cut off the supply or not, they don’t need our weapons.

They absolutely do depend on the US lol, it’s a vassal state.

Please educate yourself. Even Israeli academics admit this.

Israel is, depending on how you count it, between the #8th to #10th largest weapons dealer in the world. They don’t need OUR weapons.

Links supporting what I’m telling you, depending on how you count it, Israel is the #8, #9, #10 largest arms exporter in the world.

Us telling them “Yeah, well, we’re cutting you off…” means exactly nothing to them.
