minus-squareBlackDragon@slrpnk.netlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up59·edit-23 months agoSounds like a great time to propose my system of temperature: Super Celsius. I’ll connect it to the freezing and boiling points of water just like Celsius, but while freezing remains at 0, boiling is now 1000. Get ready for a nice mild day of 250.
minus-squareBrown5500@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up4·3 months agoCentiCelsius I think (10 cm in 1 m). kilo would go the other way. love this idea though
minus-squareSuDmitlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up12·edit-23 months agoI believe it’s DeciCelsius. I don’t know in what system 1 meter contains only 10 centimeters heh, thought it’s 100.

minus-squareGrubberfly 🔮@mander.xyzlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up7·3 months agowe could use the freezing and boiling points of humans, for a change
minus-squarewarbond@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up3·2 months agoFinally, change I can believe in
minus-squareSwedneck@discuss.tchncs.delinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·2 months agobut is that dead or (at least recently) alive humans? for dead humans that’s about the same as just straight up water isn’t it?
minus-squareVal@lemm.eelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·2 months agoLets ditch base10 entirely and use 0(freezing)-216(boiling). that means 0-1000 in base6.
