This is a huge bugbear of ours in that many think that kink and a fetish are the same thing, they aren’t.

This isn’t to say that some things are always a kink and some things are always a fetish, even individually it can be a sliding scale or a spectrum on a personal level and things can move around.

Also, anything can be a kink or a fetish, even things thought of as normative are usually within that mold, such as most people literally having a genital fetish i.e. they require genitals involved to get off, or a kissing kink/fetish.
