He literally just said that he wants to make it so nobody ends up 270 electoral votes.

He’s gonna remain on the ballots in blue states and in red states where he can’t affect the votes, but he’s gonna to remove himself on ballots in places where he could potentially be a spoiler and cause the decision to be kicked to the house.

It’s also been reported that Trump offered him a position in his administration if he drops out and endorses his Trump. He’s currently in Las Vegas doing a presser, so hopefully somebody asks him what the position is.

I think this is now the GOP’s primary plan. They’re going to try and block certifications and kick it to the House.

He’s a grifter. By not dropping out he doesn’t have to return campaign funds.

His campaign was primarily funded by big money Trump supporters to do just what Jill Steins run in 2016 did to Hillary. He was supposed to peel off dissatisfied left wing or Democrat supporters who would never vote Republican. It only takes a few percentage points to swing the election in a few crucial states to win.

In the end his stances on vaccines, conspiracy theories and general crazy antics ended up peeling off more Trump supporters. He may have been left leaning in the past but don’t imagine for a second he didn’t sell out to the Right wing.

If you want anymore proof just look at the timing of his announcement. He announced he was pulling out of the race at the tail end of the Democratic convention. By doing this is diverting news media attention away from Harris’s acceptance of the nomination.

Not that Democrats do similar things. Biden announced he was dropping out at the tail end of the Republican convention and completely stole any press coverage from Trump and moved the narrative to Harris.

It’s just politics in a two party winner take all system.

I’m sorry that photo looks like a bad 80s horror movie makeup. Did a double take when I saw it was a real article.

Polls were saying he was pulling 2-3% of the dem vote, and 5-6% of the GOP vote.

Since he funded by far right billionaires, they can’t have him spoiling their guy, so he’s clearly been told to drop out.

There’s no way this guy was pulling 8-10% of the actual voters, he was just there so undecideds and third party people could say they were voting for someone other than the main two. I predict this will make no discernible difference in the polling numbers wherever he drops out.
