    “Safer than ever” is a hilarious claim given that cars have a much higher death rate than any form of public transportation:

    Fun fact, the shinkansen(bullet train) in Japan has had no fatal crashes or derailments since its opening in 1964, and in case you forgot, Japan is constantly plagued by earthquakes.

      The trains have anti earthquake systems where they do an emergency break in case one is about to hit. It’s pretty genius.
