You can’t just leave out the beginning of the joke and only include the punchline. It completely ruins the humour
Iirc, that is all that could be salvaged from a cuneiform tablet.
The joke goes:
A dog walks into a bar. He says “I can’t see a thing, I guess I’ll open this one”
They may be thinking about the fact that the Babylonians came up with the first Yo Mama joke we know about, but we only have part of the joke:
