Hugh mistake by whoever started the protest to have an end date for it. Now only a fraction of the ~8000 subs that planned to go blackout indefinitely has remained private. The protest has achieved nothing and Reddit will continue doing its things. Not to disregard the efforts but this is definitely not the right way to protest.
I don’t think we’re losing time.
r/Warframe has a lot of posts. It’s simply not feasible ever to just copy every single post in existence. If we can define a set of guides that are most valuable and currently missing, then we’d have something we could work with.
I say we’re losing time as it appears that the method I’ve pointed to in the other thread used Reddit’s API. We’ve got the rest of this month until the whole reason the protest started goes into effect and the API becomes functionally unavailable.
We’ve got the rest of this month for what?
What would you like to see moved?
Sorry, missed seeing who I was replying to. I recall you’re already aware of the other thread and are in a better position to know the timeframe and options than I am. I was referring to using the scripts & API to grab posts quickly.
As for what I’d like to see moved… I don’t want to give unhelpful generalities so, there’s one or two recents I’ve been able to find the links to specifically:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Warframe/comments/146jtos/praghasas_design_is_somewhat_reminiscent_of/ An interesting post related to assets made for TNW and a little bit of discussion on possibilities for the future.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Warframe/comments/146fsef/orbiter_wip/ The orbiter interior-design post that inspired me to start actually trying to make mine look… at least less spartan.
On a more generalities note: Discussion/guides of how to survive and kill effectively in Steel Path.
Aside from that, thank you. I see the team here is trying to make the instance a good place for Warframe community and preserve the knowledge from the subreddit.
