Is using an animal that has to eat basically nonstop to support its body really the best way to make this point?

I’d also point out that many horse feeds contain animal products to supplement protein

Alright, but how do cows make protein, you’re telling me grass can be turned into steak? People actually believe this stuff??

Yeah I was gonna say, they aren’t just outside eating the grass off someone’s lawn once in a while. They are endlessly devouring specially made feeds

No, just no. Most horses are not fed grains of any type. They eat grass and hay. Grains aren’t really great for them anyways. Performance horses and elderly horses will get supplemental style grains, but a horse needs to basically eat 24/7 to keep their guts properly working.

Look guys, not looking for a fight here, but maybe just don’t tell the people who are already in somewhat of a war with vegans to go and eat literal grass 😅
