    Idiots, it’s not like they’ve ever said this is definitively what things looked like. They aren’t hiding the fact that this is their best interpretation.

    This makes me realize that there’s actually been progress: I haven’t heard an acquaintance asking about a missing link to try and disprove evolution for at least a decade. That’s just my experience, but I used to hear it a lot.

    That does it, I’m convinced! All the scientists were lying and the earth really is flat! Wait, what was this one? Oh, right. The earth is 5000 years old! That’s what I meant to say.

    I mean… Dinosaur depictions changed wildly from when I was little.

    But the neat thing about science is that they can admit that their best evidence might be flawed and they will keep working on it when proven wrong.

    Religion on the other hand…
