    What’s the issue? 11/9/2001 is the only 11/9 that matters? Is that your argument? That people shouldn’t be born on days that bad things happened? Spoiler: that’s all dates

      It’s cause it’s funny. People associate 11 September with the twin towers. It’s then whiplash to see Kirby. It’s not that deep

      What’s the issue? Is assuming that op meant that all 9/11’s are referencing the twin towers your argument? That people aren’t allowed to be surprised that an event which changed thousands of lives is being brought up by children? Spoilers: you sound like a jerk

        I agree. It’s been 23 years… We can’t expect everyone to have the world trade center association forever. There are college graduates born after September 11, 2001.

          It’s one of the pillars of the military industrial complex, it’s not going away any time soon. What it actually means to individuals is largely irrelevant, beyond “9/11 bad thing happen”
