And the test results are even more meaningful than animal tests with mice.

As a side effect, this can also reduce the surplus amount of oxygen wasters.

The willful stupidity would be amazing if we hadn’t seen just this kind of nonsense throughout our species entire history.

Even if you aren’t vegan or vegetarian, you’ve gotta be crazy to think it’s working as is. Not sure why you’re front downvoted

Same reason climate change deniers don’t like hearing people say we need to do something about climate change 🤷

It’s strange to me they tested mice. My understanding is that Porcine (pigs) models are usually utilized to evaluate potential GI/intestinal effects on humans. As human and Porcine GI tracts are similar (why you really need to cook pork or you can get diseases or worms from the meat).

The article mentioned cats, so the current list of know susceptible species seems to be bird, cow, mice, and cats. Not a great sign.

You can eat raw pork – its really common in Germany. But you need special treatment of the pigs.

Cats have already been infected in the real world, so this is a no brainer. Starting with mice is a fast and cheap way to calibrate your experiments before you use the more expensive pigs.
