I live in Ohio. Micro mobility makes perfect sense to me for about 3-5 months of the year. The weather is great for it. I’ll often prefer to ride my bike over driving a car just for that reason. What do I do for the other 7-9 months?

You could also try some snow tires if they clear the bike lanes where you live

Are you asking about clothing or bikes? How far do you have to commute?

Removing the battery and keeping it inside when you aren’t riding helps, but (much like excessively hot days) longer journeys might be out of the questions at least with current battery tech unless you’re OK pedaling unassisted when your battery dies.

Some people will use a battery blanket to help keep the temperature up but I’m not sure how well they work.

I’ll often resort to riding my regular bicycle, walking, or driving if it gets too cold or hot to use something battery powered.

Good luck and let us know how it goes with whatever you end up trying!
