Posting blatantly fascist remarks like “at least it’s [insert marginalized groups here] who are being murdered and not me” will get you permabanned with no appeal.
When you comment, please imagine a Palestinian, an immigrant, an LGBTQIA+ person, a BIPOC, or some other marginalized group will see it. That should provide a good litmus test for whether what you’re about to comment is wildly offensive.
I’m not too surprised because I know gay people within my own community who align themselves with groups that want to persecute them, and they wrongly think they’ll be spared if/when the long knives come out.
They’ve got no problem watching other people suffer, as long as it’s not them. And yeah, it’s as short-sighted and self-destructive as it sounds.
