    I don’t quite understand what this is saying, can someone explain? Mostly confused about the sentence in quotes and, because of that confusion, the connection to sacrificial lambs.

      Sure. So in the US for example, there are a lot of people going about implying (or sometimes going full mask-off and straight up declaring) that at least our current administration is “just” supporting genocide against Palestine and not a lot of other groups, and that this makes it ok since one hypothetical alternative would be even worse
