Which sucks, because it just leads to less scientific knowledge and progress. It’s why it’s much more efficient to cooperate, than to compete.

Boeing & VG might collaborate in the future. Seems excessive and paranoid to destroy the data outrightAbsolutely. I have done dozens of NDAs with dozens of companies . They all have that clause.
However the disclosing company asks for their data to be distroyed if held by the other party. You don’t have to destroy your own IP.
