On July 1, DEADLOCK Pro Wrestling announced that Bryan Keith had suffered an injury, and with no available timetable for his return, he would vacate the DPW National Championship. DPW noted that he held the gold for a record-breaking 323 days and defended it five times.
The announcement noted that further announcements about the title would be made soon. DPW’s next events are on July 6 and 7, and DPW stated that Adam Priest was currently the top-ranked contender.
So his injury in AEW wasn’t a work to get Cobb on the card? That stinks, and right when he was getting his first big story, too (as much as I detest the Learning Tree stuff).
Sadly, yeah :( Hopefully it won’t be too long for him to heal up.
