A lot of what I like about myself, personality-wise, partially stems from the experience of being trans. I think I would be less compassionate, less free-thinking, and less fun person without all of this. There’s hard parts, obviously, but I would never for a second trade my life for a different one ❤️
Definitely. Being trans means to question everything that society has told us since birth, everything that’s been prescribed. I also feel like, as a white man, I’d have a whole lot less of an understanding of the oppression that racial and ethnic minorities face if I weren’t trans.
