There are plenty of Jews around the world who have lost family in the Holocaust who very much do believe the term does apply.

Can’t find any statistics of “Jews around the world who have lost family in the Holocaust” but only 22% of American Jews agree with that statement as of 2021.
So 22% before Israel blocked supplies and bombed 80% of Gaza into fine rubble. I wonder how that number looks now
