    This is not fair.

As a woman who keeps accidentally dating dudes named Robert, I keep coming up with new nicknames to keep them obviously different. That’s the power move.

Also the Roberts all appreciate having a new, more unique name, so that’s a good sign. Just make sure the person doesn’t mind the nickname you choose, and you’re in good.

I live in Norway and like every second person is named Chris. There’s Kristoffer, Kristina, Kristine, Kristian etc. and I know at least two people with each of those names.
Whenever my girlfriend refers to any one of them I have to flip through a mental rolodex to figure out who the hell she’s talking about.
I really should start giving them nicknames.

I know about 10 people called Alex, 4 of whom I’m close to. It’s exhausting to keep track of who knows which Alex and which Alex everyone might be referring to when they don’t specify.

Do you know the musical “Company”, specifically the song from it of the same name? You’ll get a few more ideas there lol

I’m really curious…what nicknames other than Rob fit well? Cause my brain just says “Robo” and that’s pretty horrendous, so I’d love to know what you came up with.

I usually give them a nickname based on either gamer tag or their last name or a character name (from Pathfinder or whatever.)
