I remember reading an article about (I think) one of the pandas at a German zoo getting a birthday cake for its 20-something birthday, and yes they had to explain to visitors that the cake is made of fruit, potatoes and bamboo – food that pandas like to eat.
Florida would probably be thrilled if a pet food company showed up in South Florida and started trapping and making cat food out of the invasive iguanas.
I always wondered why cat food was chicken or beef rather than field mouse or garden lizard.

It turns out a blend of flower, sugar and egg, whipped and baked is not too appealing to pandas.
