…To this day I cannot understand how she could hold such contradictory views on her own buildings.

    You see, it’s funny because “developments” in real estate refers to a project of one or more commercial buildings, and “erections” is a synonym of “building”, and “Brest Region” is an administrative division encompassing southwestern Belarus, while simultaneously “developments in the Brest Region” sounds like it refers to breast development, and the word “erection” is more commonly used to refer to what is medically known as tumescence. So this post is a double meaning playing on the terminology that one might expect to see used by an architect, at the same time as the more obvious interpretations of the words as referring to feminizing hormone therapy and genital dysphoria.
