Park fire became California’s fourth largest this month. It erupted in a part of the state that is increasingly covered with the scars of wildfires.

    I hope we accelerate the implementation of controlled burns soon, and hopefully reduce the occurrences of these massive fires. People understandably complain about the effects on air quality from controlled burns, but if you suffer from the air quality during a controlled burn then an outright fire is going to be a million times worse.
